General Information and Care: Begonia glabra is a newer species to be introduced into the terrarium hobby that is quickly becoming a favorite by many. It is a climbing species that likes to meander around a tank. It has shiny leaves, and the stems easily grow roots to clasp to anything they can find. The new leaves, under higher light, have a beautiful red coloration that fades to green as they mature. When it flowers, it has clusters of white flowers, typically only once or twice a year. Additionally, it should be noted that this is one of the faster growing Begonias that Glass Box Tropicals offers. This is by far one of the easiest to grow Begonias for a terrarium or vivarium!
