General Information and Care: Davallia parvula is a smaller growing fern species that is especially well suited to being grown in a terrarium. It prefers to be in medium to high light, as well as having ample humidity to thrive. As with all other Davallias it grows via a rhizome that is covered with fine hairs. The rhizome will slowly ramble around a tank. The finely textured dark green leaves will grow from the rhizome and eventually can create an amazing mass of foliage. The leaves of this plant typically do not exceed 1.5â in height or width. To do best, this species should be mounted in the terrarium in an area that the rhizome will not dry out, but that the leaves will be able to dry between mistings.

This fern is quite small and very pretty has already grown new fronds. I am very much looking forward to growing it out and using it in a future scape(s)
