General Information and Care: Microgramma nitida is a slightly larger epiphytic fern that can really add great texture to a terrarium landscape. This species gets stunning bright green leaves that are 3-4" in length and up to about 1" in width. It slowly spreads with rhizomes that tend to spread until they find an area that they are happy in and then send up several leaves at once. At times this may lead to several inches of rhizome without leaves, but to not worry if you see this, it is completely normal. To have the best success with this species, it needs to be mounted.
