Temperature preferences: Warm growing
Water preferences: Medium to high moisture
Terrestrial or Epiphytic: Epiphytic
General Information and Care: Microgramma sp. 1 is a yet unidentified species. This fern is similar to several but is yet to produce any spores to aid in the ID. This species has a very wiry rhizome with lanceolate leaves that are 3-4â in length and ¾-1â in width. It seems to be one of the more tolerant species of drying out, but also does not mind being extremely moist. This is another species that tends to send out lots of rhizome without necessarily any leaves until it finds the perfect conditions and then will send up leaves readily. To have the best success with this species, it needs to be mounted.
