General Information and Care: Philodendron inaequilaterum is a very interesting species that Glass Box Tropicals offers. This is a rather easy to grow species in a terrarium as it loves the high humidity and medium to high light in our experience. The paper thin leaves is what really sets this species apart and what makes it so desirable. For quite a while, this species simply went by Philodendron sp. 'Paper Thin'. However, this is a slight larger species that does best in at least an 18"x18"x24" tank or larger. The stems also tend to be extremely smooth, and actually when grown for extended periods of time, moss seems to easily establish itself on the stems.
Glass Box Tropicals Plant Care Rating: 4
Shipped Size: Tip cutting with at least 1 fully opened leaf and a new one forming on the growing point. Easily roots in ABG substrate or long fiber sphagnum moss. These leaves frequently get damaged in shipping due to how thin they are, we do not guarantee against there being leaf damage to this species during shipping.
