General Information and Care: Philodendron verrucosum 'Mini' is one of the most stunning species that Glass Box Tropicals offers. This is a rather easy to grow species in a terrarium as it loves the high humidity and medium to high light. The leaf coloration and smaller size of this clone is what really sets this species apart and what makes it so desirable. This one is referred to as the Mini clone as the leaves tend not to get larger than an adults hand but can be as small as just 2" or so in diameter. In the wild, it is not uncommon to see a huge area of forest floor covered in these beautiful small leaves!
This is not a super fast growing species, but as it establishes in a terrarium it will need regular pruning. Doing so will help keep it to a reasonable size, as well as always give you the amazingly colored new leaves to look at!
