General Information and Care: Pilea repens is a relatively rarely offered plant, but a great terrarium species none the less. This species was originally obtained from a seed grown plant at Oak Hill Orchids. Glass Box Tropicals has found that this species is extremely easy to grow from seed and commonly self pollinates and disperses seeds. This plant is liked by many for its beautiful dark purple leaves that are very corrugated. Under certain lighting conditions the leaves can also be dark green. As this species matures, the leaves will reach up to 3â in length and about 1â in width. Overall a great plant to add to any collection and can really add some nice color and texture to a terrarium landscape.
Glass Box Tropicals Plant Care Rating: 3
Shipped Size: Well rooted plant that has been grown in a 2.5â pot. Will be shipped bareroot.
