General Information and Care: Selaginella sp. 'Borneo' is an easy to grow species that does exceedingly well in terrariums. This is a more upright growing fan type species that offers an amazing naturalistic appearance in a terrarium landscape. The color can vary depending on lighting conditions from a bright green to a darker green to an iridescent green/brown. As opposed to S. kraussiana this species grows more upright similar to S. plana but with beautiful fan shaped fronds. This Selaginella species does not tolerate drying out, and prefers to stay moist. Overall this is an amazing species to use as a foreground plant.
