General Information and Care: Selaginella sp. Fan is one of the more unique growing Selaginellas that Glass Box Tropicals offers. Many customers love this species due to the ease of making it appear very natural. It has a stunning growth habit and will create gorgeous clusters or fan like fronds. This species has stunning deep green stems and fronds. When the stems produce leaves, they look like big fans and are typically light green, though in some conditions can be a darker green. This is a species that will require some trimming to keep the appearance that is desired in a terrarium but is not nearly as fast growing as other Selaginella species that we offer.
