General Information and Care: Selaginella sp. 'Mini Ecuador' is an easy to grow species that does exceedingly well in terrariums. It is low growing, typically spreading and staying very low to the substrate. Many customers love this for that lush moss appearance it can provide without the trouble of growing tropical mosses. As opposed to S. kraussiana this species stays much smaller and shorter. This Selaginella species does not tolerate drying out, and prefers to stay very moist to wet. Overall this is an amazing species to use as a foreground plant.
