General Information and Care: Stelis hirtella is an easy growing small to medium orchid species. This species does best when grown epiphytically and allowed to dry out slightly between waterings. It typically grows to be about 3-4” tall, with leaves about ½” wide. Typically it flowers once a year with pale yellow flowers with maroon centers. The flowers on this species truly make it remarkable in a terrarium!
