General Information and Care: Zootrophion griffin is an easy to grow terrarium species that love to be in a location with constant moisture. This species is typically found in wet forests in Ecuador growing as an epiphyte. Typically this species in on the small side with total height being around 4" or so and the leaves being about 1" in diameter. Flowering occurs on this species in the fall and winter commonly. The flowers are hooded in appearance and almost black in color. This species also may bloom successively or simultaneously with up to 3 flowers per apical.
