This is a revolutionary new product that is an amazing alternative to the traditional Leca or Clay Drainage Pebbles which are made from strip mined clay. Arqlite is made from 100% recycled plastic, is inert, and can easily be cleaned and reused over and over! Additionally, unlike Leca, there is no dust and no need to wash this product before use.
This is great as a drainage layer in a terrarium or other container as well as a growth media for house plants. Basically it can be used exactly as LECA / clay balls can be but without the regret of knowing you are using a product that is made from strip mined clay and is not reusable or recyclable!
This product is pH neutral and can be cleaned to be reused or recycled.
