General Information and Care: Begonia 'Peridot' is a great miniature rhizomatous species of Begonia for a terrarium. The leaves tend to stay under 1.5" in diameter making it a great option for even a small terrarium. The stems are red to maroon in coloration. As mentioned, the leaves stay relatively small, but also have beautiful silver markings. As the plant matures, the leaves may change to almost all silver, or may darken to a deep bronze-red coloration. This species is readily self branching. This Begonia is a truly stunning species that looks amazing in the foreground!
