Little Sea Roly-Poly isopods are an excellent choice for vivariums and make a great occasional snack for poison dart frogs and other small animals. Little Sea Roly-Poly isopods have a softer body than some of the other species and have a much slower reproduction time. Due to the slower reproduction than other larger species, this species does better if allowed to establish a population before animals large enough to eat the adults are introduced. As with the orange isopods, most adult dart frogs, except Phyllobates terribilis, will not eat the adult Little Sea Roly-Poly isopods due to their size.
The culture that is shipped may be used to seed a tank, or begin a master culture so that you will have a steady supply.

Once again very pleased with my order! There were ~15 isopods I think, and all of them were alive and well.
