Shroomroom Moss Mix – Moss & Fern Spore Mix for Terrariums and Vivariums

If you want to give your terrarium that natural, established, overgrown look, Shroomroom Moss Mix is a great product to try. MossMix is a dry mixture of mosses and fern spores made for decorative use in terrariums, vivariums, and forests in a jar.

This is a tried-and-tested formula, and when it is applied correctly and given the right conditions, it can produce some truly amazing results. It is a simple way to add natural growth to terrarium hardscape such as wood, cork, rocks, backgrounds, and other decorative surfaces.

Simply spread a thin layer of the mixture over the area you want to cover, spray it with water, and let nature do the rest. Under the right conditions, you can begin seeing the first results in as little as one month.

How to Use

Apply a thin layer of MossMix to the desired decorative surface. Once applied, spray the area with water.

For the best results, keep the terrarium at approximately 70–80% humidity and around 25°C (77°F). These conditions help maintain the natural structure of the mixture and provide an environment where it can develop properly.

A little goes a long way. 10 grams of MossMix will easily cover an 18x18 terrarium background or about 1 to 1.5 square feet of area.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind
