General Information and Care: Ficus pumila var. quercifolia, also known as Oak Leaf Creeping Fig, is one of the more sought after species in the Ficus family. Many customers are drawn to the shape of the leaves. In addition, many prefer Ficus pumila var. quercifolia due to the slower growth rate as compared to many of the more common Ficus sp. Even though this is one of the slower growing species, once established, it can cover a background and give an amazing depth to a terrarium! The overall leaf size is about half of the more common Ficus pumila.
