General Information and Care: Masdevallia erinaceae is a great small growing species that absolutely loves terrarium conditions. This species thrives on being moist to wet and does not tolerate any drying out. Additionally, this plant unlike many other orchids that Glass Box Tropicals offers can be grown either epiphytically or terrestrially with great success. The flowers on this species are quite intriguing as well with plants usually being covered in them several times a year. The flowers are more of a round shape compared to many other Masdevallias and covered in a slight pubescence around the margins. As far as color, they are a beautiful shade of yellow with maroon to dark red accent markings.

Masdevallia Erinacea
I love this little orchid so much I've bought 3! It blooms for me quit often with beautiful maroon and yellow flowers! I'd like to get one of these for every Viv I build!
