General Information and Care: Nephrolepis cordifolia âDuffiiâ, also known as the Lemon Button Fern, is a great terrarium fern. This is one of the easiest ferns to grow in a terrarium. Additionally, it reproduces easily in a terrarium via runners that it will send out. These are very easy to trim off allowing you to spread the plant throughout other tanks if you wish! This is a medium sized fern with fronds eventually reaching near twelve inches. The Lemon Button Fern does best in tanks that are at least 18â tall. Overall, this can really add the tropical appearance to a tank due to the leaf structure and the ability for it to spread and give a naturalistic appearance!
