General Information and Care: Peperomia rugosa is a unique species that has been around the hobby on and off for quite a while. This is a wonderful plant with thick leaves that can make a great laying spot for Ranitomeya. The leaves are a dark maroon with red undersides. The leaf margins also over time gain a briliant lime green that really stands out against the otherwise dark maroon and sometimes corrugated leaf. This is a fairly easy to grow species in a terrarium.
