General Information and Care: Scaphosepalum breve 'Brown' is a gorgeous easy to care for orchid in terrarium conditions. This species seems to love to stay constantly moist to almost wet. It definitely does best mounted epiphytically. The leaves are small, staying around 3-4" in length at a maximum and about ½" in width. This species blooms successively on a 2-10" long racemose inflorescence. The flowers themselves are stunning as you can see in the picture. Beautiful shades of brown highlighted with white, yellow and maroon!
