General Information and Care: Goodyera viridiflora is a Jewel Orchid that is especially well suited for growing in a terrarium. This species appreciates a moist to wet media to grow in. Also, it likes medium to low light making it a great understory plant. G. malipoensis only blooms once a year with a 4-12" tall flower stalk covered in small white and yellow flowers. However, the foliage is what really appeals to many people. The leaves are a stunning sea foam green with darker green veins really making it stand out next to almost any other plant! This is another species that makes an excellent understory accent plant.
