The Virgin Cork Bark panels that Glass Box Tropicals offers are a great option for many tanks. They are extremely easy to cut, can simply be siliconed to the glass for an instant background, and plants can easily climb up them or be mounted to them. If you plan on having a background covered in plants, no reason to spend a lot of money and time on it when you could simply cut these to size and stick them into your tank. They are made from virgin cork that has been pressed together onto a piece of flat cork board. These tiles are 300mm x 300mm which is about 11 3/4" x 11 3/4" and are approximately 1" thick though the thickness can vary slightly since they are made from a natural renewable product.
